Relaunching the multiseed bread brand microsite with a responsive alternative build on Wordpress.

Working with British Bakels to help relaunch a microsite for the brand of multiseed concentrate which they provide to bakers throughout the UK. Our objective was to help educate visitors on how easy the product was to bake as well as inspire them around the other baked goods that can be produced from the same single product.

Brief Background

Multiseed bread is a brand of bread concentrate produced by British Bakels for bakers to that is easier to prepare for greater profits. Simply adding water, yeast and flour to the concentrate will provide a wide variety of tasty premium bread range.

The existing website was dated and wasn’t mobile friendly and there was no space for new or engaging content to warrant returning visitors.

The team wanted to integrate a content management system allowing them to add and modify a Recipe area as well as add new bakers and wholesalers who were selling the bread to appeal to both businesses and the end consumer.

The website and brand is heavily marketed as the ‘Feel Good bread’ through their stockists in the UK and is used as a consumer tool to learn more about the product and its benefits as well as also educating businesses into the financial benefits of introducing it as one of their product lines.

Solution - Baking A New Experience

We planned and delivered a new responsive website built on Wordpress that provided users with a far more engaging welcome. Implementing various screen transitions and animations with moving clouds and a tractor that drives along the page, the website had far more impact in the way that we told the product story.

Focusing on both educating users to learn about the product benefits as well as creating a journey to be able to purchase or find their local stockist.

The stockist / wholesaler search feature enables users to be able to search either by postcode or via searching in map view. Clustering large numbers to provide a cleaner appearance on screen. We also provide a list view and all the locations could be easily added and maintained via the Bakels team as new stockists came on board.

Being that we’d already produced a website for British Bakels for their Home Baking range, the marketing team were also looking for a simplified login option to help maintain both websites. By implementing Wordpress Multisite the team could possess a single login to keep both sites up-to-date.

Overall we wanted to create a far more interactive experience from applying the subtle transitions / movements to various assets we were able to present the product, explain the benefits to both the consumer and baker and display on Mobile, Tablet and desktop devices.
