We entered our team into a Charity 6-a-side football tournament to raise money for Help For Heroes
On May 18th the Impact Cobras (that’s the Impact Media 6-a-side team are setting their sights on the Regency Security trophy for the 3rd time of trying. Hopefully 2019 will be our year!
Regency Security are a stand sponsor for Premiership (nearly) new boys Norwich City. They have ran a 6-a-side tournament in the close season for the past 4 years to help raise money for Help for Heroes.
We entered a team last year made up of mostly of staff of another client: British Bakels. We had several amazing games and just missed out on a play off place. Martin and I both played, however with the speed of the game, not for very long 🙂
This year we are doing it all again, and have several players representing companies across Essex and London supporting our squad. Penntech It, Ellis David Insurance, HCF Partnership and LB Construction are just a few of the companies supporting our team.
On the day there will also be a host of other companies competing for the prize, and this year we will be up against:
The Big Match is being hosted at Carrow Road, the home of Norwich City F.C. The premiership pitch will be divided into 4 sections to provide the 10 teams to play 15 minute matches.
Date: Saturday 18th May 2019
Kickoff: 12pm
Spectators are welcome to help cheer on their team and there will be a bar open for drinks and snacks too.
After the tournament is complete, there is also an after party celebration at Bond Bar in Norwich City centre.
