Danny Tonkin
UX/UI Designer

Background & Skills
Danny has been designing websites in an agency environment for over 15 years now. Starting off in the days of 800x600 screens and table based websites.
After completing his degree in Web Design, he got a job with a local print design company. After a couple of years there, he made the move to an agency as their lead Web Designer. There he worked for 14 years designing websites - and the occasional WordPress build - for many national charities, schools and public sector companies.
This helped him gain experience in working in fast paced environments and the ability to adapt to different design styles.
He loves WordPress for its ease of use, from uploading images to creating page content. "It's so flexible there's rarely a time that a complicated design or request cannot be achieved."
Danny loves learning about new trends in web design and how they can be applied to a clients brief. He also really enjoys getting to work on a wide range of projects, keeping things fresh and pushing him to make the most of any subject. He finds working with other like minded designers and developers really helps with his progression.
Interests
Outside of work Danny makes the most of the great outdoors. He likes to ride and race road and mountain bikes. He's a keen photographer, and enjoys taking his camera out whilst hiking around the South Downs with his kids and dogs. He also enjoys cooking up a storm, and sampling and finding decent craft beers.
